Maurice Baldwin, owner of Painter of Missions Enterprises, Inc., has commissioned Tom Willis from SDcomputerHELP to build this new website. This site is establishing an online presence for an incredibly talented San Diegan. His work is relatively unknown and this is a big step towards marketing his work to many people. Among the new additions is an online painting gallery and store, user registration and message board, and a content management system. The site features all of Maurice's current works with room for expansion in the near future. The site is database driven using open source software (MySQL, PHP) and freely available scripts (PHPshop). This website has a shopping cart, user registration, newsfeeds, and other dynamic content, in addition to the California Mission histories that was on the old site. The paintings of the missions are amazing and it's my hope that this website will reflect the quality of the art that Maurice Baldwin creates. In addition to the California Mission paintings, there is a collection of other paintings that will also be for sale online. Currently the online payment gateway setup is Paypal, but the site is capable of processing most current online payment methods. The future looks bright for Painter of Missions Enterprises, Inc.
